She has been a steady producer for several years. She is a well proven breeder and birther. Her 2008 daughter was the largest cria ever born at this ranch, arriving at a hefty 26 pounds. This bears out the continuing viablility of Ucanogas as a breeder and mother. Ucanogas and our own Legacy son, Yarrow, were paired 4 years ago and produced a lovely medium fawn female, Tabby. Tabby was bred to our Caligula and Fandango grandson, Empire, and produced the nicest female cria we have seen on our farm in years. This history of Ucanogas offspring and their offspring begs the point that Ucanogas is the backbone of a wonderful genetic base. She, herself, does not represent any outstanding phenotype. She is basically a brood mare doing her job to seed a show quality herd. She sells bred to our Yarrow.
