Welcome to the "Softer Side of Ranching" at Great American Alpacas.  We are located next to San Antonio, TX nestled between IH 35 and IH10 in Marion, TX. 

We currently have 28 Huacaya Alpacas of all different colors and bloodlines, and strive to excellence in breeding with crias on the way! Our herd is friendly and curious, enjoying visits from new friends.

Our newly finished education center will begin classes in October 2008, bringing valued information from experienced ranchers and leaders in our industry.  These classes will focus on all aspects of the alpaca for the curious beginner to the invester to the experienced alpaca owners.

Rick and Lisa take pride in providing support before and after the sale to maintain the health and welfare the animals and owners.  Come on by for an instant stress reliever by walking in our pastures and enjoying their gentle and calming nature.
