Some of our beautiful Alpacas

Welcome to BRANDILYN FARM home to Brandilyn Farm Alpacas.  We are breeding the greatest treasures on earth - ALPACAS!

Our business goal is to breed, show and sell superior alpacas in a wide range of colors to discerning buyers. Our personal goals are to show and breed a superior  alpaca, lovingly take care of them and provide unparalleled client service before, during, and after a sale.

We are located in Holly, MI about 60 miles Northwest of Detroit, in a rural area of Oakland County.  Our  farm consist of six acres of rolling hills and flat land circling around an acre pond.  Our pastures are  always lush and green.  Searching for a business we could start while both working and retire to in a  few years we came across alpacas.  We had never owned any livestock, but soon discovered how easy alpacas are to take care of!  Alpacas have become our passion.  They suit us as we are both outdoorsy people, we love animals (I also show and breed English Cocker Spaniels under the kennel name Brandilyn), and always need to be doing something.

We have both Suris and Huacayas but specialize in the Suri alpaca.  There is nothing more beautiful then the luster of a suri's fleece as they are moving around the pasture.  Alpacas bring a calmness to you.  It's impossible no matter how busy your day is to not stop and feel this calmness come over you while you gaze at your herd in their pasture.  Just as it is impossible not to feel delighted and joyful in the early evening hours as you watch the babies chasing one another, which in turn gets the whole herd to pronking around the pasture.

We breed for genetic diversity without preference for country of origin.  Our alpacas genetics go back to:  PPeruvian Uribe, PPeruvian Ganador, 4Peruvian Inca Hoots, Peruvian Fuego, Peruvian Accoyo Diamond River, Peruvian Shakespeare,  PPPeruvian Don Juan, Black Peruvian Royal Forest.  Our alpacas consist of Peruvians, Bolivians, Chileans, and Accoyos.  We also breed for all colors from
whites, browns, blacks, and greys.  We breed for true suri and huacaya phenotype and offer both at reasonable prices to this industry we love.

We are a small farm with no interest in becoming a large one.  We'd rather be known as a top ranking farm in the country especially when it comes to customer/client support.  Since we are a small farm we are willing to "go that extra mile" for our clients.  So please give us a call and come out and visit us.  We'll put some chairs out so you can put your feet up while sipping a refreshing class of cold water or
hot coco depending on the season, while you watch the babies chasing each other, which in turns gets the whole herd pronking.................................which causes you to relax with a huge smile on your face or
rich bellows of laughter to escape from your mouth.  Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh such is the life of owning and loving these whimsical creatures - the ALPACA
